映画やテレビで、ある場面から別の場面に急に切り替わること。会話では話題や状況が突然変わる意味でも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

元々は映像用語で、今はストーリーテリングでも使う。スクリプトでは『CUT TO:』と大文字で書かれる。会話では急展開や場面転換を表現する時に適切。
