Definition

小さく切ったパンをトーストや揚げてカリカリにしたもの。サラダやスープに入れて食感や風味を加えるためによく使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常は複数形「クルトン」として使います。サラダやスープに合うことが多く、そのまま食べることはあまりありません。
