কোনও কৃতিত্বের জন্য কাউকে স্বীকৃতি দেওয়া বা কোনো অ্যাকাউন্টে টাকা যোগ হওয়া বোঝায়।

'be credited with' দ্বারা কেউ কোনো কাজের দায়িত্ব পেলে বোঝানো হয়। ব্যাংকিংয়ে 'creditted to your account' অর্থ টাকা জমা হয়েছে। এটি বিশ্বাস বা ধারণার অর্থে 'credit' নয়।
