"cowering" in Bengali
Definition
ভয়ে কারও দেহ কুঁকড়ে যাওয়া বা সঙ্কুচিত হয়ে পড়া। মানুষ বা পশুরা ভয় পেলে এমনটি করে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
শারীরিকভাবে ভয় পেয়ে সংকুচিত হওয়া বোঝাতে ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন 'was cowering in the corner'। শুধুমাত্র লজ্জা প্রকাশে ব্যবহার হয় না।

ঝড়ের সময় কুকুরটি টেবিলের নিচে **কুঁকড়ে ছিল**।

সে ভয়ে **কুঁকড়ে ছিল** যখন সে সাপটি দেখেছিল।
