離婚訴訟で、夫婦のどちらかと不倫関係にあるとされる第三者を指します。主に法律上の用語です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

非常に稀な、厳格に法律用語。『correspondent』（記者・通信者）とは異なります。日常会話や新聞では使われません。
