무엇인가의 가장자리나 외곽을 나타내는 선이나 형태입니다. 주로 지형, 얼굴, 물체의 윤곽을 말할 때 사용합니다.

대부분 복수로 사용합니다. 'the contours of the land', 'facial contours' 등이 자주 쓰입니다. 지형, 예술, 메이크업에서 흔하게 볼 수 있습니다. 'outline'과는 구별됩니다.
