継続続編

Definition

物事を継続することや、前の内容の後に続くもの。シリーズや物語などの続きにも使われる。

やや硬めの表現で、論文やビジネスの文脈でよく使われます。「of」などで後ろに内容が続く形が多いです（例：the continuation of the story）。空間的な連続には使いません。シリーズや続編の意味もあります。

This class is a continuation of last week's lesson.

この授業は先週のレッスンの**継続**です。

There was a short break before the continuation of the movie.

映画の**続編**の前に短い休憩がありました。

The teacher asked for the continuation of the project.

先生はプロジェクトの**継続**を求めました。

After lunch, there will be a continuation of our discussion.
