رسمية وتستخدم غالباً في اللغة المكتوبة. الصياغة الشائعة: 'be comprised of'. لا تستخدم 'comprised from' أو 'comprised by'. غالباً ما يتم الخلط بينها وبين 'compose' و 'consist of'، بينما 'comprised of' تعني 'يتكوَّن من'.
