「圓規」（複數為compasses）是一種用於畫圓和測量地圖距離的工具，也可以指指示方向（南、北、東、西）的裝置。

‘Compasses’ 幾乎只指繪圖工具“圓規”；導航儀器通常說“compass”（指南針）。不會用‘compasses’來指多個指南針，多用“compass”。常用於課堂或技術場合。
