공보는 정부나 조직이 중요한 결정이나 사건에 대해 공식적으로 대중에게 알릴 때 사용하는 공식 성명이나 발표입니다.

공식적이고 주로 정부, 외교, 언론에서 사용합니다. 일상 대화에서는 거의 쓰이지 않습니다. '공동 공보', '언론 공보'와 같이 씁니다. '커뮤니케이션'(소통)이나 '메모'(내부문서)와 다릅니다.

The government released a communique after the meeting.

정부는 회의가 끝난 후 **공보**를 발표했다.
