この言葉は非常にフォーマルで、政府や外交、メディアの場面で使われます。日常会話ではほとんど使いません。「共同コミュニケ」「プレスコミュニケ」などが典型的な使い方。「コミュニケーション」や「メモ」とは用途が異なります。
