“食客”是指正在吃东西的人或动物，也指某时段用餐的人。有时还可指在某领域快速取得成功的新来者。

“食客”本义为用餐的人。在体育、商业等语境中，有时引申为新秀。注意与“吃（动词）”区分。不用于形容爱挑食，后者是“挑食的人”。
