Definition
İki ya da daha fazla olayın, birbirini etkilemeden ve tamamen şans eseri aynı anda veya ilişkili şekilde meydana gelmesi durumudur.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
'Bu bir tesadüf ki...' şeklinde sıkça kullanılır. 'Saf tesadüf' ifadesi tamamen şans eseri anlamını taşır. Bazen gizli bir neden sezilirse 'bu tesadüf olamaz' da denir. 'Coincide' (fiil) ile karıştırmayın.
