Expresión informal, común en contextos emocionales o difíciles; puede ser literal ('aferrarse a la cuerda') o figurado ('aferrarse a la esperanza'). Suele confundirse con 'hold on', pero 'cling on' implica más desesperación o apego emocional. A menudo va seguido de 'to': 'cling on to...'
