Definition
特定のグループ内だけで付き合い、外部の人を避ける様子を指します。よそ者を受け入れにくい傾向があります。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
個人には使わず、グループや家族などの集団に対して使います。やや堅い表現で、ネガティブな印象があります。「exclusive」に似ていますが、社交的な壁が強調されます。
