तेज़ और लगातार शोर, खासकर जब कोई समूह ध्यान आकर्षित करने या अपनी राय ज़ोर से व्यक्त करने के लिए करता है। इसका मतलब ज़ोर से मांग करना या चिल्लाना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर औपचारिक या साहित्यिक अंग्रेज़ी में इस्तेमाल होता है। आम बोलचाल में कम। प्रायः सार्वजनिक विरोध या मांग के लिए ('clamour for')। 'glamour' से न मिलाएँ।
