নির্দিষ্ট ধরনের পোশাক পরিধান করা বা কোনো বস্তুতে ঢাকা থাকা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

সাহিত্যিক বা বর্ণনামূলক ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'armour-clad', 'white-clad'। দৈনন্দিন কথোপকথনে বিরল।
