何かを小さく割ったり欠かせたりすること、またはスポーツで軽く球を打つことです。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
スポーツでは「chipping」はやさしくボールを打つ意味で使います。表面が少しずつはがれる時にも用います。食べ物にはほとんど使いません。
