某物体上的狭窄裂缝或缝隙，通常出现在墙壁、门或类似表面。"chinks" 在英语中也有非常冒犯性的贬义用法，但其中性含义是指物理上的小缝隙。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

作为描述物体上小裂缝时，'chinks' 为中性，但它同时也是极具冒犯性的种族歧视词，绝不能用来描述人。常见搭配有 'chinks of light'（一缕光）。日常对话中罕用，可用 'cracks' 或 'gaps' 替代。
