Definition

２人で対戦し、１６個の駒を使って相手のキングを逃げられなくすることを目指すボードゲームです。

通常は数えずに『チェスをする』と言います。『チェスの試合』『チェスクラブ』『チェス盤』『チェスの駒』などで使います。比喩的に戦略を表すこともあります。
