Definition
Charing es el proceso de quemar algo hasta que se vuelve negro y crujiente por fuera, pero sin convertirlo en cenizas. Puede referirse a comida u otros materiales que se oscurecen por el calor.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
"Charing" se usa sobre todo en la cocina, cuando alimentos quedan negros y crujientes por calor directo ('chared on the grill'). No confundir con "charming" (encantador/a).
