"buy on time" in Korean

Definition

물건을 한 번에 모두 내는 대신 일정 기간에 걸쳐 조금씩 나누어 지불하며 구매하는 것.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 비싼 물건(가구, 자동차 등)에 사용. ‘할부로 사다’, ‘신용으로 사다’와 유사. 저렴한 물건에는 거의 쓰지 않음.
