"Burned up" pode significar completamente destruído pelo fogo, ou alguém estar muito zangado ou chateado.

Como phrasal verb, usa-se literalmente para fogo e, informalmente, para raiva (mais comum no inglês americano). Menos usado que 'angry'. Não confundir com 'burned out' (exausto).
