Definition

お湯でお茶やコーヒーを淹れたり、ビールのように発酵させて作ること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にコーヒーやお茶、ビールなどに使われます。「freshly brewed coffee」は淹れたてのコーヒー、「locally brewed beer」は地元で作られたビールの意味です。ソフトドリンクや蒸留酒には使いません。
