“breed”的複數；指不同種類的動物，尤其是經過選擇性培育的種，有時也指動物繁殖後代的行為。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
常出現在寵物、動物分類場合，如“breeds of dogs（狗的品種）”。動詞“breeds”指繁殖。不應與“species（物種）”混淆，species 是更大的生物分類。
