किसी को किसी बुरी या कठिन खबर को आमतौर पर सावधानीपूर्वक बताना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आम तौर पर 'break it to someone' के रूप में, सिर्फ बुरी खबर के लिए प्रयोग। 'I hate to break it to you, but...' यह कथन आम है। वस्तुओं को तोड़ने के लिए नहीं।
