Definition
Boule adalah bola logam berat yang dipakai dalam permainan Prancis pétanque. Istilah ini juga bisa digunakan untuk bola bulat pada permainan mirip bowling.

Kata ‘boule’ biasanya hanya dipakai saat membicarakan pétanque. Di luar itu, pakailah ‘bola’. Jangan bingung dengan ‘bowl’ (mangkuk/aksi bermain bowling).
