Definition

Boroughs 是城市或城镇内有自己地方政府或行政职能的区域。在纽约或伦敦等地，“borough”指的是城市中的特定行政区。

“Borough”多用于正式和行政语境，比如纽约的五大行政区。不同于“neighborhood”（社区）或“suburb”（郊区），borough是更大、具有政府职能的行政单元。
