数ページで構成された小さくて薄い本で、情報や説明を伝えるために使われます。

「小冊子」は数えられる名詞です。「案内小冊子」「旅行小冊子」などの表現が一般的。小説や雑誌には使いません。情報が短くまとまっているものに使います。
