Definition

人や物資、車両などの出入りを妨げること。多くは軍事作戦や抗議行動として行われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

フォーマルやニュースで多く使われ、『港を封鎖する』や『道路を封鎖する』などで使います。短時間の「ブロック」とは異なります。
