遮る意図的に無視する

Definition

光や音を通さないようにすること、または意識的に思い出や考えを無視すること。

日常的に光や音を遮ったり、嫌な記憶や考えを意識的に『無視する』『忘れようとする』場合によく使います。物理的障害物ではなく、意図的な行為であることが多いです。

Curtains can block out the sunlight in your room.
