Definition

失敗や問題、悪い状況の原因を誰かや何かのせいにすること。

「blame on」は目的語を伴って使います（例：blame the problem on someone）。単独で「blame on someone」とは言いません。「blame someone for」の形になります。日常会話やカジュアルな場面でよく使われます。

Don’t blame your mistakes on others.

自分の間違いを他人の**せいに**しないで。

People often blame bad weather on climate change.
