相手の秘密や不利な情報をばらすと脅して、相手にお金や有利なことを要求することです。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
法律や深刻な場面でよく使われます。「blackmails someone into doing something」は「無理やり何かをさせる」意味。「恐喝（きょうかつ）」は金銭以外にも使います。
