把东西系牢或绑住；还可以用来表示结合事物，或指让某人有法律或道德上的责任。

可以指实体上的捆绑（用绳子），也可以是抽象上的约束（法律、承诺）或技术用语。常见短语有“bind to”（连接）和“be bound by”（受约束）。不是口语词。
