『サイクリング』は、気軽な自転車乗りやレクリエーションとして使われます。競技としては『自転車競技』や『サイクルスポーツ』が使われます。「サイクリングに行く」「サイクリングが好き」などの表現が一般的です。バイク（オートバイ）とは異なります。
