Definition

어떤 집단이나 사람에게 불공정하게 호의적이거나 비호의적인 태도를 가져 그들을 다른 사람보다 더 나쁘게 대하는 것.

주로 집단과 함께 사용 ('bias against women' 등). 사회적, 학문적, 법률적 맥락에서 자주 등장. 의식적, 무의식적 모두 해당됨. 'prejudice'보다 약하거나 미묘할 수 있음.

There is a bias against older workers in this company.
