এটি প্রায়ই তখন ব্যবহৃত হয় যখন একাধিক ব্যক্তি ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হয়, কিন্তু কারো ভাগে সবচেয়ে বেশি পড়ে। 'bear the brunt of the blame' বা 'storm' এর মতো বাক্যে পাওয়া যায়।
