屋外で炭火やグリルを使って肉などの食材を焼いて調理すること。多くは友人や家族と楽しむイベントです。

アメリカ・イギリス・オーストラリアなどでよく使われるカジュアルな表現。友人や家族と集まって行うことが多い。日本語では『BBQする』とも言う。
