銀行が発行する、お金として使える紙のお札のこと。コイン（硬貨）ではなく、紙でできた通貨。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「紙幣」はやや堅い表現で、日常会話では「お札」の方がよく使われます。必ず紙でできたお金を指し、コインは含みません。金融や正式な文脈で使います。
