Definition
চাউনি বা শেড হচ্ছে জানালা, দরজা বা বারান্দার উপরে লাগানো কাপড় বা ধাতব আচ্ছাদন যা সূর্য ও বৃষ্টি থেকে রক্ষা করে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'চাউনি' এবং 'শেড' প্রধানত বাড়ি, দোকান বা রেস্তোরাঁর বাইরের অংশে ব্যবহৃত হয়; 'canopy' মানে সব সময় চাউনি না এবং আলাদা ধরনের কাঠামো হতে পারে।
