'Awaiting' 'waiting for' से थोड़ा ज्यादा औपचारिक है। यह 'awaiting your reply' या 'awaiting approval' जैसे वाक्यों में, खासकर पत्रों या ईमेल में आम है, आम बोली में नहीं।
