何かを他のものに添付・取り付ける行為。メールにファイルを添付したり、物をくっつけたりする意味がある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

メール送信時によく使う『ファイルを添付する（attaching a file）』など。『重要性を添付する（attaching importance）』のように比喩的にも使われる。『攻撃する（attacking）』と間違えないように。
