「at large」は、（犯罪者や動物などが）まだ捕まっておらず自由であることや、全体、全般を指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
ニュースや公式な場で逃走中の人や動物に使います。「society at large」のように全体を表す時にも使います。単なる外出には使いません。
