Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

常用于'apply for a job/college'（申请），或'apply cream/paint'（涂抹）。注意不要混淆与'appoint'（任命）。'apply for' 表示请求，'apply to' 是指申请对象，'apply on' （很少用）指物理上涂抹。
