公演やスピーチの後に、賞賛や喜びを表すために両手を打ち鳴らすこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に舞台やコンサート、スピーチなど公の場面で使われます。「大きく拍手する」「静かに拍手する」「だれかに拍手する」などの表現がよく使われます。オンラインでの賞賛には用いません。
