"admonish" in Korean
Definition
상대방의 행동을 개선하거나 실수를 예방하도록 부드럽지만 진지하게 충고하거나 훈계하는 것.
Usage Notes (Korean)
공식적 또는 반공식적으로 주로 윗사람이 아랫사람에게 사용. 'scold'나 'rebuke'보다는 부드러운 표현이고, '무엇을 해서 훈계하다'처럼 흔히 사용.
