鋭敏さとは、視覚や聴覚などの感覚や、頭の回転の速さ・明晰さを表します。

主に医療やフォーマルな場面で使われます。'visual acuity'（視力の鋭さ）、'mental acuity'（頭の回転の速さ）など。物理的な鋭さには使いません。

Good acuity is important for reading small text.
