어떤 사람이나 사물의 역할이나 기능을 임시로 또는 추가로 수행하는 것.

격식, 비격식 모두에서 자주 쓰이고, 직장이나 기술 관련 상황에서 많이 사용합니다. 'act as a manager'는 실제로 일시적으로 해당 역할을 수행한다는 의미입니다. 연기를 의미하지 않습니다.
