इसका उपयोग यह दिखाने के लिए होता है कि कोई बात किसी व्यक्ति के कहे अनुसार, लिखित जानकारी के आधार पर, या किसी स्रोत के अनुसार है। यह सबसे ज़्यादा 'according to' में आता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'According' अकेले बहुत कम इस्तेमाल होता है; आम तौर पर यह 'according to + noun/pronoun' में आता है। 'according me' या 'according with' इस अर्थ में सही नहीं हैं। यह neutral, formal और news-style English में बहुत आम है: 'according to the report', 'according to her'.
