যখন কেউ স্কুল বা কাজে থাকার কথা থাকলেও উপস্থিত থাকে না, সেই সময়গুলোকে বলে অনুপস্থিতি।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'অনুপস্থিতি' আনুষ্ঠানিক ও অনানুষ্ঠানিক উভয় ক্ষেত্রেই ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'excused absences' (যথাযথ কারণ), 'unexcused absences' (অযথাযথ অনুপস্থিতি)। বিদ্যালয় ও অফিসের নিয়মীত অনুপস্থিতি বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
